I just shifted from the iOS to my SGS2 and I know that kies, in many ways, is the SGS2's iTunes. But it sucks....

First of all, why does the images tab under my devide show images from a magazine I've downloaded through zinio? And why does the Music Tab also show a facebook app notification sound? Does this make sense at all?

Why is Kies so cluttered with random, vestigial, cache files?

So, how can I change the settings to make kies more like iTunes, only showing content I'm (the user is) interested in?

most people only use kies to update the phone firmware.

we just drag and drop in windows for every thing.

remember google aint restricting you like apple did (it took me a bit to get used to this as well)

Hmmm... But most mp3 downloaded off the web have inaccurate metadata. Wouldn't it be good if I can edit the metadata from a itunes-like app?

As the OP suggested it is Samsung's itunes and just as with itunes you can sync your contact, calendars, memos, etc. to MS Outlook without having to go through GMAIL accounts...
