Hi I'm looking forward to buy an android phone but I can't decide which one to get.

I wanted at least 1Ghz of processor the problem is the size, I wanted a small phone somewhere the size of a galaxy mini(3.14) but it's processor is only 600mhz :(

is there any android phone that small yet that powerful? thanks!

Xperia Ray is the closest AFAIK, 1Ghz with Adreno 205 GPU at 3.3 inches.

Try the Mytouch 4g slide, aka the htc doubleshot. It has a 1.2 ghz dual core processor, and a keyboard with a small screen!

Best advice I can give is actually go into a few stores(different carriers) and actual get a feel for the phone. Reason is, a phone may have all the bells and whistles you want but it may handle like crap. See if a virtual keyboard feels better to you than a slide out QWERTY, MicroSD card slot positions etc.

Also, make sure that you need all of that processing power. I use a LG Thrive(Version of the LG Optimus One) 600MHz processor but I rooted it, installed SetCPU and modified my processor settings and got rid of a lot of bloatware and bought a 4GB SD card.

    Good luck!

thanks for the comments guys! :)
the xperia ray was tempting but way out of my budget.

I was thinking of just getting a galaxy Y or mini then overclocking it. which one do you think is better?

the mini has a GPU that's what is keeping me from getting the Y :/

Galaxy Fit has a better GPU than the Y or Mini, but the Y has a better proc.

Personally, I dont recommend overclock. In the end it will make your phone get broken faster. Phones in general have a useable lifespan of 18months, before the wear and tear of use are expected to break down parts. If you overclock, you're exposing the internals to more heat and electrical flow than intended. If you're the type who buys phones every year, its ok. But if you expect the phone to last longer, dont over clock.

As for GPU, AFAIK the Y doesnt have one, and the Fit has an Adreno 200.
