Out of nowhere, I got a voicemail notification in my notification bar.(Cassette looking thing) I don't remember ever seeing it because I've had Google Voice for so long.
I've tried Powering on/off, battery out, uninstalling GV, hour on phone with VZ tech support. The notification bar doesn't give me a clear option.
If I call*86, it says I have no voice mails.
This notification is very annoying and I don't want to do a factory reset.
    Can anyone help
    thx

You have to acknowledge the message with either a 7 or 9.call your number and when it goes to voice mail hit # and it will promp you for your password. Acknowledge ant messages , it may be a saved message who's time is up.

I think you have to temporarily disable google voice to check and clear that message. Go to your google voice account on your computer and go to settings and hit "deactivate voicemail." After you clear the message you can go back and reactivate google voice.

You don't have to go to Google Voice to do this. All you're doing is disabling and then re-enabling conditional call forwarding to your GV number.
    Enabling / Disabling Call Forwarding
