    hi all i have meep tablet but now is freezing on ( meep word ) after on i tried rest but not work

    Just to clarify, it's not even booting properly?

    Does it have a USB port? Can you plug it in to a PC? Does it get recognised?

    yes i have USB port when i plug it to pc it get recognised but i can't see files i drive like this image and SD

    I'd actually suggest contacting meep directly to see if they can assist. I've had a look on their site and the tab seems very locked down in terms of what you could do to resolve yourself.

    Doesn't look like they have any firmware packages available either.

    How did you reset it and what happened to get it into this state?

    No harm in trying to press update. Not sure if it will work if it can't boot to the OS though.

    The other thing I was going to suggest is take a paperclip and push the reset button.

    Yes you will lose data/apps etc, but at this point, it's worth a shot :)

    Or have you done that already?....sorry if I misunderstood. :(

    Do you think i can install another OS? It have meep software. So can install like android OS

    Hi mz558! I'm sorry about not replying sooner... I check in here weekly, but you're welcome to come over to Facebook (Meep Tablet US) as well where we have staff at all times of the day and night :)

    To your questions:

    1. If your Meep is stuck on the loading screen, there are 2 things to try. First, fully rebooting, sliding the power switch off and back on. Also, the reset button on the back side. If those don't work that's usually a hardware issue and our call center are the ones who handle those. It's likely to be covered under warranty and a replacement may be in order if they can't help you resolve it. You do lose your items including preloaded content if you do the reset, but they are easily recovered in the Meep Store. It sounds like you tried this, but did you also try fully rebooting?

    2. We do have firmware packages on the site, but not linked into the main home page... you would go to meeptablet.com/ota. You could try updating your Meep which will improve its overall function, but I think you'd need to be able to boot up to complete the process. If you wanted to send me the serial# of the Meep, I could tell you what version you are running now. But ultimately, you'll need to be able to boot up which we can't solve remotely other than with reboot and reset.

    3. Development has told me that no, you cannot install another OS- you can't even just turn it into a standard Android tablet. There may be a way out there that someone has found, but our development teams says no. Always be aware that modifications to your Meep at your own risk and may void the warranty.

    I tried rebooting fully and reset. But not working
    Now i don't have serial number but i use version 2.0
    Tomorrow i will send serial #
    Mr jill all android device it has rest factory like ( press power button + vol up)
    There's way like this on meep? Or software to make meep booting

    HI mx558, yes that AA# is the serial. The button in the back is the reset button- it sounds like you've tried that. There's also a way to reset from the settings menu, but if you can't boot up, then your only choice is the button on the back. Really, if the Meep is stuck and can't get past the loading screen, you're stuck with being able to turn the Meep on and off and use that reset button.

    If rebooting and resetting won't let you go past the loading screen, then it falls under hardware issues which are something the call centers handle. Where are you located, so I can give you the number for the right call center?

    That's a hard one... we don't have a call centre there. You could phone UK if you wanted software support, but they wouldn't be able to ship to you if a replacement was needed. The best thing is probably to go back to the retailer where you purchased it... as they would then be able to coordinate with Oregon Scientific through their distributor. Please let me know where you purchased it and I'll see what I can do further.

    Thanks jill very much for helping i bought meep from ( kadmous toys) in beirut city i tried to go kadmousb
    But he can't help me because he didn't have support center he is only shopping toys
