How to close the PLAY MARKET in the Home Screen... (upper right side)
Kindly Help me plss...
i'm not sure i understand. that play market link there is stock. just it being there doesn't mean the market is open.
Ok, I seriously thought the OP said "Help me piss".
Anyhow that icon will always be there for quick access to the market. To actually close the Play Store, use the third softkey (the "buttons" at the bottom) and then swipe away the Play Store.
OP....that is not your home screen.....it is your apps drawer and the play market symbol in the upper right is a short cut to open the play market. I f you were actually asking about p......get the prostate checked?
LOL!!! I thought the same thing!!
Ha! I read it the same way..
I also thought that at first read!
As for swiping items from "recent apps" there really is no point in doing that. because most of your recent apps aren't actually running. If you go into settings > apps > running you will see that most of the things in your recent history aren't actually running. The OS puts them in a 'suspended state" that isn't really doing anything. If you click on "cached processes" at the bottom, you will likely see many of your recent apps there. Swiping them from the "recent apps" tray basically is just erasing this cache and doesn't really serve any purpose. If the phone is running low on memory the OS handles this on its own by prioritizing what it keeps running or cached in the background and will close apps completely if it needs the memory.
You could manually close running processes, however that is really not recommended unless you feel like the app has gone rogue and won't shut itself down or something.
like others said, that is just a shortcut to the play store...it doesn't mean it it actually open. it is ALWAYS there even after a reboot. just a quick way to get to the play store.
if you dont want it there, your only option is to download and use another launcher. Apex and Nova both have the option to not show it.
I know its not necessary, but it might help comfort the OP while they are having prostate issues.
I needed this laugh....
That was exact same thing I thought. I said wtf...let me see what this is about....
Interesting...I didnt know the Market had a static icon like that in the app drawer on stock ICS.
...I have to call it Market, sorry.
