Help Help me update my galaxy S2

Hi

I purchase my Galaxy S2 last week, i want to update the firmware but i'm a little bit confused, i have read everything but i don't understand the thing about the CSC, i'm in Dominican Republic my carrier is Orange.

What firmware should i use, can i use any CSC or do i need a specific one??

Try using Kies for official updates.

If you are looking to flash firmware, then do a search on this forum. There are already a lot of threads discussing those. I did not flash any formware via Odin, so won't advise you on how to do it since don't want to be responsible for getting it wrong.

If you can use KIES that is the preferred solution. You can download it from the samsung website.

If not (in case of any issues) you can use ODIN to do this. There are some good guides on either youtube or xda. The last official firmwares you can find on samobile.com. Try to search for the firmware you have now and then search for the newer simular firmware.
