My hair (on my head) is nearly if not at the length that I can cut it and send it off to Locks of Love and not have to totally shave my head. This being my second, and probably last hair donation, I hate my hair touching the back of my neck. I thought I would christen the event with a new facial hair style.

I have a full beard, not a neck beard, right now and it's about a 3rd of an inch, so a couple will take some time to fully come in.

Here's a pic of a chart and hopefully it won't be too huge and I will take the top 10 I am considering and put it to a poll to help me along.

Once you've done it, are you putting a picture up??

I vote for The Winnerfield! (this reminds me of playing Fable on the Xbox)

I wish I could grow a beard without the wife killing me (she hates facial hair) and my eczema coming out in a rash.

Best of luck with whichever style you go for anyway fella!

I think it's hard to say without seeing what would look best on you. I could say Fu Manchu but it might look ******ed on you. If it were me, I'd say eff it and go w/ the grizzly adams.

I'm rocking the Rick Ross right now (it's so thick I could braid it), I haven't cut it in over 2 months. I dunno, feels like I'm on some type of sabbatical journey where I'm trying to find myself.

My wife asks me shave every day but I think I'm meant to keep this beard. There's a higher purpose to it. :D

All jokes aside, it would take me like 1 week to get a Rick Ross beard. I just can't stand having it that thick. Shit gets itchy.

I cosign the itchy but just being able to stroke your beard is worth the price of admission.

Meant to keep it or meant to not shave it just because it's more fun to have her ask every day? ;)

I have to agree with previous post that with no pic of you we can't say what would look best.

Well, that is one of the perks. She gets her way with almost everything else, so this is my little victory even if it's an insignificant one. LOL

Ah, the facial hair question. Without knowing what you look like, how exactly your hair style is, or what your overall style is, it's truly hard to tell. So I'll give ya my take.

Mine has always been a statement that garners a lot of attention. I rocked a fu manchu for about 6 months, you'll def get noticed with that. Right now I'm rocking something in between the rap industry standard and the short boxed beard. It's def been a hit.

EDIT: Somehow I overlooked the Klingon. I did see a cartoon where I guy had the Klingon style, but it was more pronounced with sharper edges. I thought it looked kinda sweet.

Wow, I am away from the computer today and I get so many replies. Thanks guys.

As for it looking shitty or not, I really don't care that much. This isn't a look I am locking myself into for years, but a few week minimum, and thought it would be fun to put it to a vote. Also I thought it might be amusing to have it be a total surprise.

I was also planning in maybe doing a before/after pic at the end, but might only do and after. Do you guys really need a current pic? My hairstyle right now is long, but that means nothing since it will go to a buzz and the long hair will be mailed off.

Grizzly Adams is off the list since I already did that one. Also I did the Prospector (that's let it grow wildly and only wash it), and the Jamie Hyneman (not one I liked), and the Rick Ross (was in the middle). My favorite one ever was I had a goatee that I grew out to around 7 inches.

No Rap Industry Standard (too much work).

I'm wondering how long I should let the poll run?

EDIT - The Dali is process that would take me FAR too long, so it's off the list.
