I need help, my messages are auto-deleted once it reaches around 1500 messages in the conversation. I used to have two contacts with 3000+ messages, but since I installed Advanced Task Killer and Dr. Battery Saver, all messages around 1500 are skimmed down to 300+. Can anyone help me? :| Thanks. :D

    Im using a unrooted Galaxy Y :)

I'm unfamiliar with dr. battery saver and am unable to find it on the play store. Without being able to see what the app actually does, having an app running in the background to help save battery life is a little backwards to me.

Also, android manages its memory very well, and most experts would suggest against using task killers.

I would start by uninstalling both of those apps and see if that helps

I would suggest you to uninstall the Advanced Task Killer to see if it still happens like that.
