Root Help my phone will not get passed bootup!

Recently tried to download Team Chaos Red Rum 1.3 on my rooted moto droid from Rom manager, after 15 min of waiting for it to boot up (freezes on motorola symbol) i battery pulled... now every time I boot it freezes in the same spot.. how do i fix?



prior to boot up freezing i was runing BB 0.4 and chevy kernal @1.2 ghz

I SURE hope you backed up BB before you ROMmed again. Go into recovery and do a restore to your last known good state. Did you wipe before ROMming?

I have a backup. Don't think i did a wipe before installing red rum 1.3... do I need to in order or it to get past boot?

If you're having boot issues it's very likely that you need to wipe data and cache at a minimum before changing ROMs. Fortunately you have a backup. Go into recovery, do the wipe and then install the .zip again. Good luck!

Are you putting in a ROM or a theme?

when I hold X and the power button I cant get into recovery mode... any suggestions?

flash sprecovery with RSDlite. this will put sprecovery back on the phone and you can then proceed from there.
