Help! My phones will not activate...

I just got two Blu Life Play phones in the mail. I took them to Metro PCS to activate them and only one activated immediately and was able to make calls and everything... for like 10 minutes. Now they both say there is no service. I had to leave because the store was closing but the guy told me to come back if I couldn't get them to work. Any idea how to fix this? I am a phone noob. I have no idea where to start. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Advice for a noob (in any technical area). The devices are new, so bring them to the store and let them worry about them. You can watch what he's doing or sit in a corner and read the morning paper. It's his problem, not yours. If you go out to buy coffee, offer to bring him one.

This is what I did. He could not get the second one to work and the first one stopped working after I left the store. The store was closing, so I just ended up leaving and he told me to come back if it didn't start working by tomorrow. I really do need the phones to work tomorrow though, so I was wondering if there is maybe something I can do tonight.
