Help Help!!! Phone juts died on me!

Eeek. My phone has died on me. I was using it as normal and it froze. The screen went off and then nothing. I tried holding the power button - nothing. Tried putting it on charge - nothing.

I suspect its a goner. The thing is I bought it from Phone 4U who are now defunct.

In that case do I just return direct to HTC?

Answer my own question. Booked it in via HTC support. Very efficient service so far. Courier coming tomorrow to pick it up. Like I've lost a limb though! Sob!

Blimey. Started working again. Held power and up key at same time and powered on. Phone reported an abnormal shut down but seems OK. Only odd thing is battery is at 82% but was about 30% when died!

You may find that some day in the near future, your phone will be struck by the Black Screen of Death. Keep your invoice and be prepared to send your phone back for repairs. And back everything up before it happens.

If I were you I'd still exchange that bad boy! You never know when it will fail and you will be left alone in the rain wishing you had a phone to call a friend.
