    Hey Everyone,
I have a huge problem. My phone will not go past the Boost start up logo and just keeps restarting itself. This is the 2nd phone doing it. The first phone I had for 3 weeks before it started, I've only had the replacement phone for 1 week. I've tried pulling out the battery, but when I turn it on, it goes to the boost logo, sits there for a few seconds, then restarts......and just keeps doing that. Anyone have any suggestions?

UPDATE I just did a factory reset and phone now works, I of course lost all my apps and other data, so I need to reset that back up. I would still like suggestions on why this could be happening.

I was going to say Factory Reset usually helps with the boot loop issue. I recommend downloading Titanium Backup Root (The full version is worth the money!). You can backup ALL Apps + User/System Data. So after a Factory Reset, just do a restore and all app's and most settings will be back to the way you had it. I am assuming you have CWM installed since you could do a reset without booting up. Did this Boot Loop happen after an installation from .zip in CWM? If so that is most likely why. There was a few things trying to boot from the old ROM and needed to be cleared so it would boot only what you installed.

could be from not clearing data and cache when you install cwm, if doing a factory reset fixed it, then that may be the issue.

just in case your new to cwm...what I mean is
    1)shut phone off
    2) boot into recovery (volume down & power button until buttons flash)
3)scroll down to "wipe data/factory reset"
    4)reboot system now

you will lose your settings and what not, but it will avoid the boot loop.

This should only ever need be done the first time you load custom recovery or if you are changing roms or loading custom ones.
using titanium backup like Bionic Chronic said will help speed up the process of re installing apps and such.
