Its using Android 2.2, which is a phone's OS, most cheaper tablets have that. So the market will think its a phone, and the market app will detect the device and show you what apps are compatible with it. That's fine.

What error message are you getting?

when I go onto the Market it asks me for my GMAIL I then put my information in and then it says " Can't establisha reliable data connection to the server. and then underneath it says " this could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provisioned for data serivices. if it continues, call customer care. " I have a tablet not phone. I just don't understnad why they would have all these services and the android tablet yet I can't use them. is there any way i can take it out of mobile mode or is there any kind of soloution to the matter. I thank you for responding and hopefully you can guide me in the right direction . :)

Again I repeat, your device is using Android 2.2, which makes the Market recognize your device as a "phone", since its not using a tablet OS (Android 3.0). This is normal for the cheaper tablets. Just ignore that.

Are you connected to the internet when you try to access the Market? And how are you accessing the Market? via a web browser or the Market app?

Yes I have access to the internet . I can browse just can't use any of the applications for the tablet well most of them. And i'm using the market application, and even when I come on to these forums via my tablet it says they have an application i can use when accesing this website and it wont let me use that application either. I have internet threw bell on my computer upstairs so the internet is fine.

Do you have a Google account already configured? Go to menu>settings>accounts and sync and look there.

chanchan05 is exactly correct (per usual :)) - please follow his tips and you'll be happy in no time.

Phone, tablet - just think "mobile device."
