I think I need help. I can't install the 2.3.6 update, because my phone's rooted. Or something. Something's wrong. Are there any other rooted users who aren't having trouble with this? I would normally post this in the root only thread but I really need help.
I really want to UNroot my phone and I've seen the fxz method it's just I understand nothing of it. I tried installing the ADW and all that stuff but it just doesn't seem to work. If anyone can walk me through this, step by step that would be greatly appreciated.
Another little question, is the factory reset delete the root or does it just bury it a little? I factory reset it from inside the phone, not the boot menu, does that make a difference?
