want root linux dont work on my mac, windows is 64 bit java dont work help!
If you can get adb working, then you can root the phone. Download the Android SDK for your operating system, and follow the instructions therein to get it connected to your phone with adb. Once you can type "adb shell" and be talking to the phone, then the steps are the same regardless of the operating system.
If you're having trouble with adb, you can search for help using the Android SDK in many places.
im still having a hard time im new to all this sdk, root, even this mac i need a step by step tutorial sadly.
I made a bootable linux flash drive and did it that way. Once I figured out that if I had everything in the right directory it was really easy.
I don't. Know how to ues sdk or even know where to put it.
If you've got Windows installed on your mac, you should be able to run the pack I uploaded (you'll need Java I believe, but it your windows being x64 won't keep that from working, just download the correct version). Once you're in windows, download java, and my pack (Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites! has mirrors of it), and follow the directions for Windows in the how to root post. Just make sure to keep the case of the commands correct (if it's lower case, keep it that way, if it's mixed case, keep it that way, etc).
i went to my friends house and used his computer i can get the $ promp but cant get the # and i got ur download pack of sdk.
Make sure you're using the newer instructions that were posted after mine, it's been tweaked a bit to make it a little easier, and some steps clarified.
That was the one I was useing.
