And when the unlocking bootloader process is erasing my data does it erase just my apps or the apps and whatever is in the internal sd card?

Alrighty, now download this file and place it in your fastboot folder

    twrp2.img

The boot back into fastboot mode and send command
    Exactly

    fastboot boot twrp2.img

Then choose backup from the screen and tell me when that finishes

Well twrp is touch and flawless and CWM is not touch and has bugs

But it's your choice, I advise twrp

    Also when you send command

    fastboot boot twrp2.img

    It does no flash anything

It just boots it in your device

After you make a backup of your stock system which includes boot and recovery

Then you can flash the recovery with command

    fastboot flash recovery twrp2.img

Place it in your fastboot folder on your pc

You can rename it to something like

    sickjbboot.img

    So it's easier to flash

    Then

Boot back into fastboot mode and

    fastboot flash boot sickjbboot.img

    Then

    fastboot reboot

So i don't have to do the directions on his post, just do your directions and just download it and follow yours?

The reason you need to flash simonsimons34's boot.img is because our stock boot.img that came with the device has write protection. This means if you don't flash simonsimons34 custom kernel, if you want to delete any apps, everytime you reboot your device, those 'deleted' apps magically return

Nope not done yet, you need to go to XDA developers site and download his flash-able superSU.zip

Then boot your device into recovery mode and click

    install

(Navigate to where the downloaded superSU.zip is)

Then click the zip and swipe to confirm

When you reboot you will have a unsecure rooted device

    Profit!

So do i just flash it and ignore the other stuff that the post says i need to do?
