Just today I rooted my phone and I then used a root checking app to see if it worked with the results saying I was successfully rooted. A few minutes later I updated my phone ( Droid Razr Maxx HD ). It's XT926 and version 4.1.2. Using Motochopper by Dan Rosenburg, I get to a step where it then says that the root has failed. I do still have the Superuser.apk however. Not even a factory reset changed anything. Any help would be appreciated, sorry if it sounds idiotic, I just started this today.
Thanks

Updating with official firmware will remove the root access. I think thats what happened. You should report your post and ask nicely for someone to move it to the right forum for your device so youll get the best possible advice

Thanks! But I got 2 questions,
1. Where and how do I move my post?
2. What do you suggest I do to get my root back?
