I'm running into a bit of an issue trying to run it. I've read the Sprint Hero rooting FAQ thread and I'm fairly sure I get it.

The issue I've got now is that my laptop is running ubuntu, not windows and everything on the how-to seems to be based off of doing this on a windows machine.

So the steps I have issue with is the htc sync driver install portion. These are windows drivers.

Also when I do "adb devices" in the SDK, it says command not found. I'm guessing this might be caused by the drivers mentioned above.

    Any solutions for linux pc's?
