help? san francisco II wont turn on?

my phone is san francisco II and its been untouched for a year or so, now im using it again but having problems with it coming on and once its on...staying on. it vibrates, the screen *****es out and then it turnes off the light flashes red at the top and now its really really fustrating me, please help before i smash it???

Sounds like a short in the charging port. Use a magnifying glass, a strong light, a pointed wooden toothpick and look to see what's shorting out. (If the bar in the center is bent so that it's touching the shell, that could do it too - the contacts on the bar are shorting to the shell.)
