Support HELP:save background image to sd without root

    a few months ago i took this amazing picture that fit perfectly on my background
    a few weeks after i saved it to background my sd card fell out and i lost it
    but the image stayed on background


    im wanting to update my phone but i dont want to loose that pic
    i know the background is saved in /data/data/com.android.settings/files/background
    but since i havent rooted my phone i cant copy or move that file
    and in order to root my phone wouldnt i loose that image?

    please someone help me this is driving me crazy and i really want this picture

    You can give the free application Wallpaper Set and Save a try, which is available in the Market. I gather that the image created may be changed slightly from the original, however. It doesn't sound like it's perfect, but it might be better than nothing.

    OMG
    it was that easy
    i have been through hell trying to get this image saved
    been working on it for the last 5 or 6 hours
    ive download so many apps
    terminals
    root explorers
    z4root
    i was about to get busybox since cp isnt a valid command and then
    BAM!! you come in with this super simple app and its done
