    Hey there,

I've been looking at upgrading from my old Bold 9000 to an Android phone. However, I am having trouble finding a phone that I like. The Dell Streak is really appealing as I love the idea of having a large screen (>4 inches) but unfortunately I cannot afford a phone that is

I just bought the htc evo last month and I love it. I do everything on this phone and I can't stop using it. Everyday I find new things to do or new apps. The big screen is nice and the phone comes in black our white.

Is the Evo available in the UK? I can't find it on Vodafone.co.uk. :(

Edit: A simple google search answered my question. It appears to be the Desire HD in the UK market. :p are there any other Android phones with large screens?

EVO is a CDMA phone, the EU is GSM only
if you are looking for sonething cheap look at the Orange San Francisco, easy to unlock and mod, on the mid end specs wise Defy is a great for the price, Desire is good too but Defy is now far better value
As for high end specs wise, Galaxy S, Desire Z/HD are all great, but the first needs a bit more.. erm user customisation ;)

EDIT: Desire HD is largest screen size

I'm not looking for really cheap, just something that's available as a cheap upgrade option on Vodafone. The Dell Streak is only on O2 which is a shame. :(

Why the Desire Z over the Desire HD? Is the Nexus One/S any good? Which is the newer one?

Physical keypad isn't what I meant by qwerty keypad. I meant either physical or on screen. Sorry I didn't make that clear. Also I will require the use of a proxy server but I've been told android doesn't allow this?
