Help HELP!! shabbymod.9

Hi just got my prevail yesterday, iv rooted the phone already and im trying to download shabbymod.9 and an optimizer so it runs smoother an faster but shabbymod.9 will not download it starts to say once it reboots the 2 time downloading busybox failed costume rom failed etc. whats going on how do i get it to work.

shabbymod.9 is for Froyo (2.2.2] it will not work for gingerbread (2.3.5]
go to menu>settings> about phone and look at Android version.

is there any mod i can get that will work on my prevail im mainly trying to get this optimizer but it says i need to get shabbykernel RC1 and i download it on my computer i just dont know how to put it on my phone or where so it works so i can use the init.d file that has the optimizer in it an move it to system/etc.

There are currently 2 ROMa available for GB. cm7 (which is still in beta but were close) and CTMod both have init.d support. all I can say is read read read. All mods/roms/themes have detailed instructions and most questions have likely been answered in their respective threads.

so iv done this all but now im having a problem from what i can tell is an unanswered or even asked question. im trying to download the CTmod i put the zipfile in my sdcard but when i try to load itfrom my phone it wont work:[

you didn't say anything about having CWM installed so I'll assume you don't

go here http://androidforums.com/galaxy-pre...turn-phone-stock-factory-updated-11-09-a.html and download and use EJ06 Gingerbread Rooted with CWM5

after thats done and your phone is booted up follow the instructions in the CTMod thread on how to install it
