    Can someone please help me?

I took out the 8GB SD card from my Blackberry Storm and put it the Incredible.

I had a bunch of music saved on my SD Card that I downloaded from VZW Music Media thing.

When I go to music on the Incredible and go over the song (it shows the picture of the album of the song)

it says "unable to play this type of audio"

    Any suggestions or thoughts?

    I have NO Idea!

I will find out when I get home and put the micro SD card into the adapter that I got for free.

And see what kind it is.

I was hoping it wouldn't be a painful switch.

And I can't see the pictures either. I go to camera and then click the little picture button, but it only shows the default 13 or however many there are default.

My suggestion. . . dump the files from the card to the pc, format the card in the phone, transfer files back to card. see if that has any effect

I bet that this will fix it as well.

Delete the MP3 folder on your internal memory and rename the folder on the card "MP3"

    Agreed.
Chances are that the BB-formatted card contains a folder structure or root folder structure that is conflicting with the way the Inc sees the files.
You should ALWAYS format a card on the phone, then transfer files.
REMINDER: Formatting will erase all card content, so back the content up before formatting.
    That should fix it.

I suspect this method will not work.
I currently have a Moto Droid and all I had to do to get the music to play (after formatting of course) was drag and drop the music files onto the card memory. So that all of my music is in one place, I did centralize the files in one folder that I created and named "Music", but I assume I could have called the folder "Sassafras" and it would still play the music.

Here is the answer from a Verizon Tech.

When I downloaded the songs from VZW Music, they were licensed under my phone, not my SD card.

They will only work on my Blackberry Storm. Nothing I can do about it.

    makes sense . . . .
fyi, if you cant transfer the music & you have the time, you can probably rebuild most of your library with the imusic app.
