Here's a strange one, im sure. attempted last night to root / install 2.2 on my mytouch that originally had 1.6 on it. i dont have t mobile anymore so i cant connect the phone to Google to go thru the dumb tutorial and login. i need to unlock this phone but t mobile is stonewalling me saying that until i pay the $700usd early term fee, they cannot and will not help me. ?ast night i got as far as flashing to 1.5 before going root and flashing any further. what does my next step need to be? i am ultimately trying to just sell the phone and wash my hands of t mobile forver.
