So I upgraded my Motorola XT800W from 2.1 to 2.2.2 via the official Motorola website firmware updater.

It installed fine, however, now I cannot connect to any data services - All I get is calls and texts.

At the top of the screen I only have the 'Antenna' icon, there is no "h ↑↓" icon like before, and it never comes up with the 3G option.

Whereas before, when I went into "Wireless & network settings" I got an option to choose CDMA/GSM under "Data network setting", now I only get an option to join a 3G Data Network - there is no mention of CDMA.

Here's the clincher: This is a South Korean phone on a South Korean CDMA network

..so I was hoping I would ask here first incase there is a simple solution. (because not many people in the SK Telecom stores speak English).

By the way, APN's seem to be set up okay - (web.sktelecom.com)

    Many thanks for reading.

I have the same phone and I am in Korea but I cannot figure out how to get the 2.2 update. I was wondering if you can help me.
