    Howdy y'all!
I was tinkering with my Phone and wondered if there is a way to extract the information from the fingerprint sensor of my phone (and anyphone).
I know they are not optical , but it should create an image of my fingerprint quite accurately. Is there a way to access those images, and create images and videos from the sensor?
    I own a OP3.
Is there and app that already does this?
    Any help is recieved!

Pd: I just registered on the forums and didn't where to post this, hope it isn't in the wrong spot.

Moved to a more appropriate spot. :)

Given the security implications, I'm pretty sure what you're asking is impossible.

Fwiw, I can't imagine why anyone would need this anyway, I wouldn't want my fingerprint info getting in to the wrong hands.

The phone is only storing hash codes generated from the fingerprints it scans, and would be completely impossible to regenerate what the fingerprints actually look like from the hashes. You scan your finger to unlock the phone, it generates a hash, compares it to the stored hash, and if they match it unlocks the device.
