Support help volume key

    Hi can some one help me my volume key is broken on my htc desire since i droped it i know stupid me. but i want to change my rom so how can i get in to recovery mode with out using the volume key? any help would be great

    I assume you are rooted? You can try downloading ROM Manager, but ONLY use it to boot into recovery. It's completely useless asides from that.

    If you cant get into recovery using the volume key, scrolling recovery menus would also be problematic and annoying.

    Not to mention the dangers of flashing a rom and it going wrong - not being able to get into recovery to fix it.

    Bad idea.

    Yeah rooted mate tried ROM Manager but still need the volume key

    Yeah you could be right was hoping the was away by using my data cable or something but as you say it could be a bad idea.

    Yeah there are ways around it, but i seriously would not want to recommend them to you. These ways around involve being booted into the rom, which if your rom wont boot, is unrecoverable.

    best bet is get it fixed :(
