Root help w/ manual update

    i have amon recovery so the instructions stickied are not working. i have frf50 i tried to flash from zip but i get no signature verification error??

    rooted tmo. i did wipe and fresh install of frf50 and still get the

    E: no signature (144files)
    E: Verficiation failed

    You have the update.zip in your ROOT folder?

    /sdcard/

    and renamed it Update.zip (make sure its not update.zip.zip)

    ?

    Yes. RA's recovery uses a different set of keys for verification, so the 'official' OTA's will not load. You will need to find a repacked version over at XDA in order to flash.

    can i use rom manager and switch to stock temporarely to update?
