This is the new Samsung Admire 2 4g LTE. It is pretty spanking new (so much so you don't have any forum slot, or phone listing for it). Its designator is SCH-R830C, and Antutu benches (stock) at over 10k.

The CPU is listed as "Samsung Infinite" (via Antutu)
Its a dual core ARmv7 snapdragon
    with a ADRENO 225 GPU
    4gig ROM 1gig RAM
    up to 64gig on SD
    2100MAh battery
    Beam/Near Field, bluetooth 4
plus all the usual Samsung bells/n/whistles

For the OP the cricketusers forum has a method to unlock the phone.

It would be nice to have a subsection set up here though, as this phone is such a hot seller (cricket in-store pushed it out at 50$ and it sold out so fast that they can't get them back in stock.) Currently the phone lists for 279$, but online cricket is selling the device at 99$.

It appears to be a bog-standard samsung galaxy type phone, and for a mid-range device, damn snappy. Just picked one up as well....that price was too good to pass up on.

[IMG][IMG]After futzing around looking at specs, this thing is better than the s3 mini except in the ram/rom department.

In appearance its very close to the S3 mini, with a slightly different placement of speaker/flash on the back.

It also appears that this is VERY much like the old Admire/Vitality combo, as some carriers are getting it as the "Axiom" and model numbered as SCH-R830 (without the "C") designator.

As an irritating addendum...this phone IS the Samsung Galaxy Axiom which was released to US Cellular 12/12 with a slight hardware revision and released with 4.1.2 JB. There is STILL no listing for Axiom let alone Admire2...so I'm guessing its the cricketusers forum for those of us who wish to futz about.

3 days in, and I'm sold by the way. Damn thing is awesome for its size, benches well, and has fracking OUTSTANDING battery life. (2100 mah kinda' helps out there.)

Oh and yet another FYI addendum to this.
The Admire2 has 1.5 gig ram, not the 1gig I mentioned before.
So yeah, even better than listed.
