Help, what app is notifying me???

I am receiving a notification tone on my HTC Desire & I can't figure out what the source is. The notification area is empty & nothing is popping up to indicate what the tone is for. It's driving me crazy.

Is there an app that will snoop all my installed apps & list every one that has a notification tone set & what tone it is? Someone please tell there is.

Try to get a list of all running apps while that sound is received. I think AppKick (or something like that, actually any task killer) can show you working apps, and so you can find the one which annoys you.
