Recently I ROMd my MT from stock 2.2 to Android 2.3.x (CM7-TG-Reloaded) in the hope that the BT PBAP incompatibility issue that existed with my stock Froyo would be fixed. Unfortunately, it isn't. I am interested in tweaking BT myself b/c I recently purchased the Panasonic KX-TG7641 series cordless phones which have BT 2.0 and PBAP capability for downloading a cell's phonebook. The MT has BT 2.1 + EDR, including PBAP. When I attempt a phonebook transfer from the Panasonic end, the BT connection is broken and restarts when the cordless phone gives up on the transfer. Panasonic and L2 Motorola support are baffled.
Can the BT code be modified or parameters tweaked in this case to make this functionality work? Drivers? Libraries? Or is the problem in the HW / Firmware of the MT? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
