Help Help with contacts

I feel so old when I have to ask for help with my contacts. I made a mess of all the contacts from different accounts. Some were showing, some where not, some were missing, deleted, I dont know. My question now is there an easy way to consolidate my contacts or do I need to copy into a good old spreadsheet for accurate and secure storage?

Best way IMO... backup contacts to your sd card.

Open your contacts,
Select "manage contacts"
Select "more" then/or "backup to SD"

Some phones (like the ascend on cm7) have. The option "import/export"
Pick that and select "export to SD card"
