Help with Java paths

    Try removing the java.exe off the path so that it's just "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\", and if there's nothing else in the path box previously, you shouldn't need the initial semi-colon. Keep the semi-colon if there is already stuff in the path directory though- it's just a separator between paths, but if there's nothing there already then of course you don't need the separator.

    It works for me.

    @hotur - yes, don't add the executable add the path to the executable - or, as Xefan says, remove the java.exe part.

    Also, is that the Java Runtime or the Java SDK? The Android SDK needs the Java SDK NOT the runtime (aka JRE).

    If you try to force the JRE install to that directory, it will work for anything that requires the runtime (browsers, etc) but will not work for the Android SDK.
