Root help with rooting

    I have a droid bionic running 4.1.2 on 98.72.22.XT875 was wondering if I do factory rest
    Will go back to orginal version so I can root it there seems not be a easy way to root this version at this time is that right,

    No. A FDR will only remove any personal user data/apps from the phone, it will not change the version of Android on the phone.
    You will end up with a clean install of 4.1.2.
    Because of the locked bootloader, there is no way to move back to a previous version of Android.

    Is there any way to unlock the boatloader
