help with search button

    Hi I'm having this problem with the search key when I first got my hero it would give me suggestions as I typed in my search know it wont no more. Can anyone help me with this?

    There is a setting for this on or off. Lang & Keyboard, android keyboard, Auto complete and show suggestions, two different options. Infact, I just decided to turn off auto complete as when I am typing something odd like passwords, I don't want it filling in it's best guess.

    1. Click the search button from the home screen...
    2, type in something and hit enter.
    3. When the search results screen opens up, do this:
    Menu>More>Settings
    4. Flick down about 3/4 of the way down under the heading of Security Configuration
    5. Check the box for "Remember form Data"

    If that doesn't work, use the other options on that screen e.g. "clear form data" and/or "Reset to Default"

    These options are already checked and still dosent show Google suggestions and I clicked reset and nuthin happens it all stays the same.

    Have you done a battery-out reset?

    Yes menny times at first that used to fix this issue but not no more .

    Yes ... is there an app. I shouldn't be killing ?.... I haven't used task killer today and still same problem.
