help with syncing

Hi all,

I am having extreme difficulties syncing my google calendar with my pc and vice-versa. It reads "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly. There are 297 deleted items for calendar regarding xxx@gmail.com" and then lists option to delete, undo or do nothing all of which I have tried to no avail. It's been nearly a week and I can't for the life if me figure this out. I have no idea what 297 calendar deletes are!!!

My background data and auto-sync are both checked as well as the gmail option. I'm just tired of seeing the sync icon with an ! on the top.

Any help is mostly appreciated.

Make sure your Gmail account (calendar) has all the info you have in it, clear your calendar in the phone re sync..Bosh

Is there an easier way then having to go to each day, or can I just do a one click and delete all?
