Root Help with Wireless Tether!!!

    downloaded the app but it wont run without a certain kernel. What do I need to do to get it to run I really need your help with this one!

    I have had 0 problems using barnacle wifi tether from the market. You have to be rooted for it to work.

    I have barinacle wifi but I am looking to tether through bluetooth.

    The kernel hasn't been publicly released yet, and until froyo comes out, I'm not sure if integrated-style tethering will work. I'm not sure, though.

    I would PM a link to the kernel or a working ROM to you, but I feel that doing so would be a violation of the creator's wishes. I feel bad enough snagging it (not really :p). Give it a while, and I'm sure that it'll be publicly released soon.

    Tether kernel is out but android-wifi-tether needs an update. I sent issue 559 to google code bit if you guys have anything to add to the code change request please enlighten the kind devs of the android-wifi-tether team.
