Please my galaxy dt s3610n not detected by odin THANKS
Did you download and install samsung mobile usb drivers on to your Pc?
Did you enable debug mode on your device?
Did you install 5 minute adb and fastboot installeron your Pc?
Did you try a different usb cord?
Is the phone in download mode (when powered on press vol - & power at the same time, when logo appears let go of power while still holding vol-)when connecting the device to your Pc?
Is it a real Samsung, or on the other hand is this a Samsung Corby from 2009?
Might be too old to be recognized by Odin, like the fact it's not even Android. It's a Java feature-phone.
I 'think' it's not a Corby but a Young model:
As far as '...not detected by odin...' just to clarify, is the phone showing up as a mounted device in your Windows system and it's just a matter of the Odin program not detecting it, or is a matter of the phone isn't even detected by Windows. In that case, the issue to focus on is probably with Windows, not Odin.
If it's the first, try rebooting your computer, mount your phone, and start up Odin.
If it's the second, you need to download and install the Samsung driver so your phone gets recognized by Windows. Once that's done Odin should be able to detect your phone.
Great responses mikedt & svim and as well the final procedure would to make sure that if your Pc has samsung Kies you might want to go ahead and uninstall it,maybe try and installing pdanet on both your device and on you windows Pc.
I just have one last question I didn't ask in the previous entry, why in fact areyou running odin on your device,is it to update,or is it to root it,or is it to put a stock rom on it to try and repair a problem?
Please be truthful,I'm not here to judge, only that the answer will only help get a better idea of the situation and better be able to help solve your technical malfunction.
Can you identify your mobile device please
If Im not even close please let me know and reply.
