I have been using your launcher for quite some time now. Mistakenly, I downloaded go launcher to see what the difference was. It made CM launcher constantly crash, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, While at the same time uninstall link go launcher, which I hated. After re installing CM launcher, it no longer works! What do I do now? I want to get it back! Please help me!

    Hello there!

CM Launcher I assume? I don't know whom you refer to but assumed a typo :)

Not sure how one launcher could make another launcher crash as you can only set one to use. Were you getting a popup of a crash of CM while using Go Launcher?

Be sure to remove all cache and data before uninstalling both launchers.
Check to see if your native launcher works, then reinstall CM Launcher.

And fwiw, you may want to reconsider using CM Launcher which is made by Cheetah Mobile who has had some privacy concerns past and present. ;) But, your call of course :)

Yes sorry, CM launcher. I uninstalled it several times and Re installed it and it is still crashing! My Samsung launcher that came with the phone crashes constantly, which is why I had to install CM launcher. I just reinstalled CM launcher again, and it is still crashing! What do I do now?

First I think we need to address the issue of your Samsung Launcher crashing.
Has this launcher issue been happening after a recent update?
I would try to boot into recovery mode, clear the cache partition only and reboot.

Let me ask, did GoLauncher crash too or did that function properly?

This sounds like as you've been trying out different launchers that with all the interface customization tweaks that may or may not be specific to each respective launcher, something left behind as you've installing/uninstalling them has resulted in an unstable condition.

At this point, if you don't already have some kind of backup solution in place, set it up now. Try installing Samsung's 'Smart Switch' utility on a computer and do a full backup of your phone. This will make it much less of a hassle to do a restore of your data in case you need to fall back on something like a Factory Reset.
    https://www.samsung.com/us/smart-switch/

When that's done, try doing a 'Clear data' on TouchWiz, that's the Samsung default launcher, and see if that makes any improvement. You should at the very least get your phone back to a working, stable condition. The default launcher is big part of that.
If that didn't help, try temporarily re-installing each of those third-party launchers you were trying out one at a time -- GO Launcher, CM Launcher, etc. Install it, don't bother setting it up but it if is running tap on 'Force stop', then be sure to 'Clear data' BEFORE tapping on 'Uninstall'. That's important as you need to use that 'Clear data' button to wipe any old settings/configuration files. Just using 'Uninstall' should do this but a lot of apps do not so you need to manually clear those settings/config files before doing the uninstall of the app. This whole process is just so you can get TouchWiz working properly again. Once you do, then try out whichever launcher you prefer, just don't do multiple ones without cleaning up the previous one first.
If none of that helps. you'll probably have to do a Factory Reset. But again, make sure you have your data backed up first.

Thank you so much for your help. I uninstalled and reinstalled CM launcher several times, with no luck. It keeps crashing. I'm going to do what you said. I will clear the data on touchwiz, and do the other stuff you said. Honestly, the launcher that came with my Samsung Galaxy S9 has been crashing since day one! I have called Samsung several times and they have no idea what's wrong! That's why I have to have a 3rd party launcher! My phone is unusable without it! I might have to do a factory reset huh? CM launcher was fine before I had to install go launcher to check it out! What did I do? Do you know?

If your were having problems with TouchWiz since you got the phone and you've been contacting Samsung about it, that's a good thing (in an odd way). Samsung is now obligated to either fix your phone or give you replacement. As long as there's documentation of some sort that you've been trying to get them to resolve this problem since day one, you've got pretty good leverage to get them to do something. You paid a good amount for a product they sold you, if it wasn't working properly the problem is on them to fix it, not you.
You 'might' want to try and do a Factory Reset, but again, do that full backup first. And anytime you need to have your phone serviced, it's important to do a backup anyway. But whatever you do, contact Samsung again and just be courteous and forceful. (I have a cousin do things like this for me, she's small in stature but vicious in verbal conflicts.)

I am just going to do a factory reset! I was looking at Samsung smart switch, and it says to disable any anti virus you have on your computer? I have Verizon security and privacy on my pc. How would I disable it?

If you're referring to some kind of Verizon utility, just to confirm, that's on your computer? This sounds more likely to be installed on your phone, not a computer. In either case, because of the necessary invasive need of any anti-virus/anti-malware utility into whichever operating system, having to temporarily disable it for some specific task is pretty common.
I don't think there is any 'Verizon Security & Privacy' utility for desktop computers but if you have it installed on yours, what kind of computer is it? Windows? Mac?
But if it is just on your phone, there should be something in the app's Settings menu you can use to temporarily disable it. If not than use your phone's Settings >> Apps menu to disable it (it might require a restart). And you might then need to temporarily disable things on your computer.

    https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00047224/
"On your computer, turn off or temporarily disable your firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-malware, and other security tools. These can block Smart Switch from accessing and transferring information to your new device."

Thank you for your help. I ended up doing a factory reset. Question though. What will clearing the data do to my installed cm launcher? Sometimes it crashes for no reason. Would that help? When I first installed it, it didn't do this.

Clearing the data of the CM Launcher app isn't really necessary after doing a Factory Reset, the Reset wiped a lot of things, including that app's data and cache.
Since that CM Launcher is still giving you problems, try going into the app's Settings menu and peruse through all its options. See if there's anything that stands out that might be an issue.
But at some point, since it's been a repeated problem it might be time to just uninstall it and move on to something else. Cheetah Mobile products are a privacy issue anyway:
