I will soon be upgrading from my Hero running v2.1 to Evo. I have MyBackup Pro on my Hero. I have two almost-identical questions:

    1. When I pickup my Evo this week, if it is running v2.1, will MyBackup Pro be able to successfully "restore" from the Hero backup onto my new Evo? I guess the lower-level uncertainty is whether there are phone dependencies that would disallow running the restore if the OS's are the same.

    2. The same question if I pick up the Evo and it is running v2.2.

Does anybody have any experience or insight? Thank you....

+1 Sorry to bump this back up. Does anybody have any thoughts or experience?

I haven't used backup pro in a while but only restore apps that were not built into the Hero. Nor would I restore settings.
