HI AIM, eBuddy, AIM not working?

I just got a certified like new replacement moto droid phone and went to download my instant messaging application and it won't sign in, I've tried several including ebuddy, AIM, and HI AIM (the one I usually use) and none of them will work. Ebuddy gives me a 501 internal server error the others just say sign in failed. Everything else I try with data seems to work fine...browser youtube, etc. Tried reseting defaults as well to no avail. Any ideas?
