hi. difficulty getting Word etc when in Windows Live

Hi, not the most technical person. I want to be able to use word, exel etc and a friend advised me to register on the Live.com (Windows Live), which I have done but the option to create Word, Exel, PP docs doesn't seem to be there, except when I click on PC Site , which then brings up a warning that there's security problem.

Can you advise me if I need to download something? I really don't have a clue so if you could post the link, I'd be very appreciative. My friend said downloads should be free.
