I was an Android fan from the day Google announced the Android platform, but hardly ever had the bucks to buy one (poor poor student). But, this all shall change since I have a relatively steady income doing freelance audio editing. So I couldn't think of a better place to prepare for my first Android phone than here Also, in my second year of my study I'll be learning to program in C and I've understood that you can develop for Android in C (though limited by the thought that the code could be too phone specific). Luckily C has big similarities with Java (at least that's what I think from reading this) so I don't think it will be too much of a problem to learn to code in Java. Anyway, I'm hoping to learn and contribute to this vast growing community of Open Source + Android lovers Cheers!
