HI! from sunny Swindon... New Android user!

Well just got with a new partner, and turns out she had a HTC G2 Touch (T-mobile) Android phone.....With a broken screen, chucked in a draw!!!

so 3 days later thanks for the wonders of Ebay, i have a new digitizer fitted and alll is good!

Well as good as a bog standard phone that just BEGGS to be played with gets!..

So this brings me to your wonderfull forums!!...

so far i have managed to root the phone, and have installed custom rom VanillaEclair 4.0.

so i have had a fairly good lurk and read up before wadeing in with stupid how do i do this and that posts!! (search is your freind!!!) i know!

so i am now sat here.... bored... wondering whats the best rom/software for this phone... and IF i can make the transition from my iPhone 3GS!

so any sugestions would be good!

Welcome to the forums Daz, it seems like you know you're way around this place already I don't know much about rooting but I would keep an eye on the All Things Root (Hero) forum.
