Hi everyone. wazzyb here been using Linux for close to 11 years now as my desktop along with windows 98-xp. Although, this machine I am emailing from is Linux exclusively. I am running fedora 12. It even works with my webcam!.
basically just taking my first tentative steps to explore the Android world. heard wonderful things about the htc hero and it's feats. So, if there was one I would get (possibly) if money was no object that would be it. But i'm sure there are many other models which people could be recommended for a Smart phone beginner.
I have spent a semester doing the Web Development diploma at Canberra institute Of technology(In Australia.
I generally love Linux and gadget things. Do almost no gaming, but have a few old ones laying around.
Next semester gonna be doing java, done Algorithms already. Spend my time between Linux mags like Linux Magazine(European based one), and Web dev and hardware mags.
i enjoy classic rock as Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. I like to use as much Open Source as possible(mostly to save money ) and I generally am easy going.
