I just bought my Verizon Droid Eris on Saturday. I debated whether to get the Motorola or the Eris, and settled on the nice touch screen of the Eris. I didn't like the way the Motorola Droid slid open, and it was too heavy.
I spent several months trying to find which phone to upgrade to, from my old LG Chocolate. My kids have different Providers, but when I saw this phone on the Verizon website, and the commercials, I had to really see it in person and get the feel of it.
But, I an still a bit lost, and so glad this site is here, because the little instruction book that came with my phone is pretty sorry! I was hoping I could find info regarding the "how to" do the various customizations on the phone.
I text and browse the internet lots! I work at the hospital, and being able to connect my new Eris to Wi-Fi is nice, and I especially like the way it syncs to my computer.
I'm with this phone for 2yrs, so it looks like it has lots of things to do to keep my busy!
