Hi there, Just canceled my contract with AT&T yesterday because they tried cramming me with unsolicited services. After spending over an hour between two separate days screaming at them that it's illegal to add a data plan to an existing line without consent, I gave up and canceled and went to Verizon for the Droid. Wish I could have gotten the N1 but Verizon was running that buy one get one deal and couldn't resist. Within an hour of use, I already love the multitasking capabilities ... some things aren't all that great, though, like lack of copy/paste from gmail (wtf?), or ability to pinch and zoom in browser (wtf??). At least I read that maps had an update that allowed this! Hopefully the development community of the Android is as active as the xda-developers community is (yeah, went winMo => iPhone => android!). I did feel bad for a minute at the store, though, because I really like the Palm Pre and I hope they don't go bankrupt. The Pre looks to be *so* much better than the iPhone and I hate to think that they're struggling even though they have such a great product out. Anyways, enough rambling, time to start digging through these forums!
