If the email account is not registered to the device, the only way to get rid of it is to perform a full factory reset. Go to menu>settings>privacy and you should see the option there. If you need to do it manually, then the folks in Velocity Micro Cruz Tablet T301 - Android Forums may be able to give you specific instructions.
