Hey everyone! I'm new to this whole Android thing, but I've always been interested in it. I am an equal opportunity techie, so I have different mobile devices (Blackberry, iOS, Android). I would have had a webOS device with the Touchpad if I could have found one, lol. All the different devices have their pros and cons, so I don't tend to take sides. Except with blackberry, everything is better then my blackberry, haha.
Anyway, I have a couple Android devices, both tablets (well one of them thinks it is). My main one is a Nook Color running CM7 and the other is a super cheap and crappy chinese tablet that thinks its running Froyo. I have no idea what to do with that cheap thing, if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
As for the Nook Color, I love it. I wish it was running Honeycomb, but when I rooted it for Honeycomb, the Android market on board wasn't the real one and nothing would download from it. CM7 runs pretty smooth, and the more and more I tweak it, the better it gets.
I'm new to this rooting/customizing/altering with electronic devices. Hell, I just jailbroke my old iPhone for the first time, lol. Anytime I try tinkering with technology, it bites back and goes terribly wrong. I almost bricked my NC twice while trying to load CM7. So I'm hoping to get some knowledge from you folks here.
