Hello jadeee, and welcome to the forums.

If the card is inserted in the sim slot by accident, you may have to just work with it gradually and gently to get it out (if that's what you mean by "the sim slot").

The SD card slot on most devices is spring-loaded, meaning the card is supposed to be tapped in a bit in order for it to release. If you're trying to pull it out, you're defeating that spring and its little lock, and you can break it.

Some users push the SD card in quickly with the tip of their fingernail, others use the eraser end of a pencil, etc. It must be done a bit quickly to allow the card to spring back out a little and then can be pulled out with your fingers once released by the spring.

Moto E 2015, I put a nano sim card in by mistake and it jammed. The back does not come off this phone. I looked at this site and read instructions for similar sorts of mishaps. I then got 2 strong but delicate safety pins (dressmaking style). I bent both gently to about 90 degrees. I then slid them either side of the nano card to keep it centred. I 'tweezed' out the card. Gently does it! And out it came, no damage, even to the safety pins.
Thank you for your post, earlier gentleman. Brand new phone now working. Oddly, I had got a spare Sim!
